While the Digimon franchise has had a prominent presence in video games, the core experience of these video games is always fluctuating, evolving as time goes on just as Digimon are wont to do. From the more pet-raising simulation antics seen in the first three Digimon World games to the more typical JRPG experience in the Cyber Sleuth games, when it comes to Digimon games, gamers can always expect something different.
